Uncertain Odds Signed Limited Edition

Friberg’s Light Iron Trilogy showcases the train scenes entitled Uncertain Odds, The Thunder Wagon and Yielding the Right of Way.  In Uncertain Odds, the stagecoach, laden with mail and packages, is driven by two men who cast fear aside to accomplish their task. Friberg portrays the figurative race between stagecoaches and locomotives as the main method of communication and transport across the undeveloped land of the United States. The sheer will of the horses to win is limited by their physical ability to out-run the timber-fueled, man-made machine. This dramatic western captures early progress and evolution in American transportation.
