Winter at Valley Forge

The tracks in the snow at Valley Forge led to freedom, but the journey was not easy for General George Washington and his men. The Continental Army’s hunger for freedom propelled them forward, even in desperate times when food, water, and warm clothing were a luxury. Friberg beautifully captured the authentic emotion of a leader who overcame fear, fought for freedom, and ultimately served as the first President of the United States of America.
